Abstract:
Based on the project of additional anti collision facilities for Tongling Yangtze River highway bridge, the collision processes of ship—pier and ship—anti collision facilities were simulated with the finite element softw are of ANSYS/LS-DYNA. By changing the wall thickness of steel shell and longitudinal and transverse stiffeners of anti collision facility, the effectiveness of anti collision facilities with different specifications was analyzed, that was, the impact force reduction ratio and energy absorption ratio of ships. The results show that for the piers whose anti collision ability meets the requirements,when the thickness of shell wall of the anti collision facility is slightly smaller than that of the fortified ship, the energy absorption effect is better, the damage of the ship can be effectively reduced.
