Abstract:
Taking iron tailing power as raw material, expanded perlite as pore-forming agent, sodium carbonate (Na
2CO
3), bamboo charcoal powder and glass power as supplementary materials, the sintered water permeable brick was prepared. The effects of raw material ratio and auxiliary material content on the mechanical and permeable properties of the sintered permeable brick were studied. The results show that Na
2CO
3 has a good melting effect, which can improve the sintering performance of fine iron tailings, the permeability of the sintered permeable brick can be improved by adding bamboo charcoal powder, and its mechanical properties can be improved by adding glass powder. When
m(iron tailing powder:)
m(expanded perlite:)
m(Na

m(glass powder) is 80:20:3:1.5:2, the compressive strength, flexural strength and permeability coefficient of the sintered permeable brick are 26.1 MPa, 3.6 MPa and 0.014 cm/s, respectively. The mechanical and permeable properties of the sintered permeable brick meet the requirements of JC/T 945-2005
permeable brick.
