A Study of the Thermal Properties of Mixed Cokes under the Same Reactivity

  • With the continuous thermal weight loss equipment, continuous thermal weight loss of mixed cokes was investigated under the same reactivity and different temperatures conditions. The change rule of top loaded coke A, B and stamped coke C, which are mixed with the mass ratio of 1:1 at 1 050, 1 100, 1 150, 1 200℃ under the same coke reactivity index (CRI) of 32%, were tested. The experimental results show that:the CRI of stamped coke is significantly higher than that of the top loaded coke; the coke post-reaction strength (CSR) of top loaded coke is significantly higher than that of the stamped coke; when stamped coke C and top loaded coke A is mixed, the worst solution loss temperature is 1 150℃; when stamped coke C and top loaded coke B is mixed, the worst solution loss temperature is 1 100℃; the activation energy of stamped coke is less than that of top loaded coke.
