Progress of Zn2SnO4 in Preparation and Gas-sensing

  • As an important semiconductor gas sensing material, Zn2SnO4 is widely used in gas sensors with the aim of detecting toxic, hazardous, flammable and explosive gases. In this paper, preparation method and the gas sensing mechanism of Zn2SnO4 were reviewed, and methods of by controlling the morphologies and doping of the samples to improve the properties of gas sensing was analyzed. Finally, the key problems regarding the development of the gas sensors based on Zn2SnO4 were pointed out.
