Abstract
Taking blast furnace slag as aggregate, engineering residue as binder and straw powder as pore making agent, specimens of sintered pervious brick were prepared with the semi-dry pressing method. The effects of slag content, sintering temperature, soaking time and molding pressure on the properties of the specimens of sintered pervious brick were studied. The results show that the bending strength of the specimen increases with the increase of the sintering temperature; the permeation coefficient of the specimen at 1 175℃ reaches its maximum, with the increase of soaking time and molding pressure, the bending strength of the specimen increases, but the permeability coefficient decreases accordingly; when the blast furnace slag content is 60% (mass fraction), the molding pressure is 15 MPa, the bending strength of the specimen reaches 11 MPa, and the permeation coefficient is 5.6×10-2 cm/s at 1 175℃.
