Research Progress of Prelithiation Technology of Silicon-based Anodes Materials for Lithium-ion Batteries

  • Silicon-based anodes materials were received widely attention in the industry because of their unique advantages, such as high specific capacity, safety and good commercial development prospects. However, there are some problems of short cycle life and low first Coulomb efficiency in the silicon-based anocles of lithium-ion battery. The prelithiation technology of silicon-based anode can effectively improve these problems. The latest research progress of prelithiation technology of silicon-based anode materials was reviewed, with emphasis on of stable lithium metal powder, electrochemical prelithiation, prelithiation additives, and mechanical prelithium technology. The future research direction of prelithiation of silicon-based anodes electrodes is also prospected.
