Structure Optimization and Series Design of New Pleated Filter Cartridge of Dust Collector

  • Taking the new type pleated filter as the research subject, the number of pleats (N2), the angle between pleats (θ), the height of pleats (h) and the velocity of filtration (v) were selected as influential factors and the pressure drop of the dust collector was selected as the response value. Based on the response surface method, the influence of influential factors on pressure drop were analyzed, and the prediction model of pressure drop of filter cartridge was established, and the optimal structural parameters were obtained. Taking the inner diameter of the new filter cartridge (D) and the height of the cartridge (D1) as the standard sizes, the cartridge part of the filter cartridge was designed through national standards. Taking the height of the cone (D2) and the inner diameter of the top surface of cone (D3) as the series sizes, the cone part of the filter cartridge was designed with the size change method, and the filter cartridge products database was established with Access software. The results show that when θ=5.2°, N2=50,v=0.01m/s and h=0.035 m, the pressure drop of the dust collector gets the lowest value. When D1=1 000 mm and D=320 mm, the optimal values of D2 and D3 are 600, 130 mm respectively, so the ratios of D2/D1=0.6 and D3/D=0.4 are used to design the corresponding cone part series.
