Simulation of Optimal Layout of Inner Wall of Rolling Heating Furnace

  • Taking a large-scale walking steel rolling furnace of a certain company as the research object,the Fluent fluid calculation software was used to simulate the temperature field, pressure field and velocity field distribution of the partition wall structure in the original heating furnace and the other two modified partition wall structures.The influence of the partition wall structure on the physical quantities in the furnace was studied. The partition wall structure in the heating furnace was optimized and verified by the production practice. The results show that the partition wall of the original heating furnace obstructs the flow of air flow in the lower part of the furnace, and a large amount of air flow is turned up to the upper furnace; The optimization plan of the partition wall structure of the heating furnace is to remove the furnace bottom partition wall (except for the soaking section) and add furnace exhaust fumes; The optimized partition wall structure can realize the uniform distribution of the upper and lower airflow in the furnace, and the upper and lower temperature difference of average furnace tail flue gas can be reduced from the original 200-300℃ to 70-80℃.
