Abstract
In order to promote carbon peaking and carbon neutralization, alcohol amine absorbents (MEA, DEA, MDEA) commonly used in the process of carbon capture of blast furnace gas were used as research objects. The carbon capture model was established by Aspen Plus software. The effects of absorbent flow rate, content and heat load of reboiler on carbon capture rate and desorption rate were studied, and the regeneration energy consumption of different absorbents after CO2 desorption was compared and analyzed to select the absorbent with good comprehensive performance. The results show that under the same conditions, the absorption performance and desorption performance of three kinds of alcohol amine absorbents have their own advantages and disadvantages, the absorption performance is MEA>DEA>MDEA, and the desorption performance is DEA>MDEA>MEA; Considering the regeneration energy consumption of absorption and desorption performance, the comprehensive performance of CO2 absorption and desorption of three kinds of alcohol amine absorbents is MEA>MDEA >DEA; Compared with DEA and MDEA alcohol amine absorbents, MEA alcohol amine absorbent is more suitable for blast furnace gas in the application of decarbonization.
