Bioinformatics Analysis of the Structure and Function of Human Cytochrome CYP3A4

  • DNASTAR, ProtParam, SignalP5.0 and MEGA platforms were used to analyze the sequence, physical and chemical properties, domain and signal pathway of CYP3A4 gene of human cytochrome by bioinformatics, the structure and function of CYP3A4 gene protein were identified. The results show that the coding area of the gene is 1 509 base pair (bp), and 502 amino acids (aa) are encoded. The molecular formula of the protein is C2620H4123N659O723S26, and the relative molecular weight of the protein is 57 256.10, and the protein is unstable in vitro. The secondary structures of the protein are presence in α -spiral and irregular curl, and there are two transmembrane structure domains, and signal peptide is located at 28-29 bp, there are 47 phosphorylation sites, 2 N-glycosylation sites, and 20 B cell epitopes. The CYP3A4 plays an important role in a series of signa pathways, such as biphenyl decomposition, flavonoid metabolism, glucuronidase activity, retinol metabolism and bile secretion, in addition, and it is the core system of drug oxidation metabolism; Pan troglodytes has the highest similarity with human CYP3A4 protein.
