Abstract
Taking silver ammonia solution and sodium bromide as the reactant, cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide as modifier and gelatin as stabilizer, the silver bromide emulsion was synthesized at different reaction temperatures and times. The effects of reaction temperature and time on the pureness, size and morphology of silver bromide were studied. Subsequently, the silver bromide was used to detect the distribution of hydrogen atom on 22MnB5 steel surface. It is found that the synthesized silver bromide crystal has a face-centered cubic structure with high purity and good crystallization effect. The size of the particles increases with increasing of reaction temperature, and the morphology of the particles is closed to sphere gradually with increasing of reaction time. The average particle size of silver bromide emulsion at 40℃ and 60 min is about 252 nm, which can clearly characterize H distribution in lath martensite.
