Preparation and Mechanical Properties of Concrete of Titanium Gypsum Persulfate Cement & Coal Gangue

  • Slurry of titanium gypsum persulfate cement (TGPC) was prepared by using original titanium gypsum, blast furnace slag powder and P · O 42.5 cement as main raw materials, as well as using a small amount of admixture. Then coarse and fine coal gangue (CG) as aggregates were mixed with the slurry to prepare C20 type concrete of TGPC and CG. The main factors affecting the mechanical properties of concrete and its optimum mix proportion were studied by the single factor experiment and the orthogonal experiment. The results show that the compressive strength of concrete decreases with the increase of water cement ratio and the decrease of binder aggregate ratio respectively. The addition of type Ⅱ admixture (SO42--Al2O3) can effectively improve the strength and water resistance of concrete, and the 28 d compressive strength can reach 23.5 MPa. The factors affecting the mechanical properties of concrete are cement aggregate ratio, water cement ratio, admixture. The best mechanical properties and water resistance can be obtained for the concrete prepared with the water cement ratio being 0.5, mass ratio of cement to aggregate being 1:1, and with typeⅡadmixture (SO42--Al2O3) being mass fraction of 5%.
